AMPS Supports The Meeting Industry Fund
One of AMPs' key community service initiatives is its support for the Meetings Industry Fund (MIF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2015. MIF provides confidential financial assistance to individuals facing crises—such as disasters, medical illnesses, or other emergencies—who are directly involved in the planning, execution, delivery, and support of meetings. This assistance helps industry professionals navigate challenging times when they have exhausted other resources.
AMPs actively contributes to MIF's mission by raising awareness and funds to support colleagues in need. The association encourages members and industry partners to donate, ensuring that MIF can continue to offer grants to those who require immediate assistance. AMPs also provides networking opportunities, educational programs, and community outreach efforts to foster a supportive environment for meeting professionals.
AMPs Impact Day
Join the AMPs Community in Unity to help make an IMPACT on the community in which we live and work. Spend a few hours of your day volunteering at a local charity where you might garden, build a bookshelf, pack food for a family or even clean up the landscape at an historical cemetery.
Join us for this epic day of service where you will be deployed to make An IMPACT! You’ll receive a commemorative tee shirt at your volunteer location and spend time with other AMPs members networking while receiving the greatest gift of all – a full heart knowing you contributed to making someone’s life just a little bit better. 2025 Dates and details to come!
