2020 September Meeting — Online Event

September 8, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Topic: Community in Unity: Reinvention AMPlified!

AMPs Education is FREE for members.

Not yet a member?  Please join now for only $20!  To join now, click here.  If you can afford to sponsor a furloughed or laid off colleague at $20, please consider doing so.  It will make their day.

AMPs also provides scholarships for those unemployed.  We truly want to embrace EVERYONE in our amazing hospitality family to come together as one Community in Unity.  The new AMPs is YOUR resource for support, education, networking and encouragement.  That is our pledge to you as we navigate together through these crazy times.

For our September meeting, you will be motivated by best selling author, speaker, and expert in Change & Leadership , Kim Becking,.  Kim’s message is perfect for our rapidly changing world, and she will offer messages of learning and inspiration.

Kim shares her own stories of resilience in life and business with healthy doses of vulnerability, humor, and motivation and will share how to use resilience to not only navigate and cope during change and uncertainty, but build a Momentum Mindset where you push past limited thinking and use the adversity, change and uncertainty in your life and the world as the fuel needed to propel you forward – stronger and better than before.

In addition to Kim’s message, you will hear how AMPs plans to AMPlify your member experiences, you will meet your 2020-2021 Board of Directors and understand just why they are so enthusiastic to serve, and we will have other fun surprises and special guests to make you smile.

The evening will conclude with your choice of 2 networking opportunities that will include Q&A with speaker Kim Becking or a personal concert by Scott Kurt, a local singer-songwriter who spends 50% of his time in Nashville writing and singing.

Presentation Highlights:

  • Enhance your ability to adapt to change, deal with the unexpected and develop greater flexibility and become a champion of change, instead of a resister to change
  • Develop key techniques and simple mindset shifts you can use to reduce stress and overwhelm and boost your resilience
  • Maintain a positive attitude, create more focus, and become more present, productive, engaged and connected
  • Develop the grit needed to succeed in the midst of change, adversity and the unexpected and how to use that grit to deal with difficult people, tough conversations and hard issues.

We will conclude with a Q&A session to address as many attendee questions and concerns as possible. Please feel free to submit your questions in advance to [email protected].
