Contract Preparedness In Any Situation – Taking Charge of Your Event Contracts

You know there are many “moving parts” that make up a successful event.  In order to keep those parts moving smoothly, you need a well-written, detailed and well thought out Agreement, whether with your venue(s), vendor(s), subcontractor(s), etc., to ensure your legal and commercial interests are fully protected.  But, what terms and conditions should you focus on in crafting and negotiating your event Agreement?  How do you prioritize the terms and conditions that will help to ensure your event is a success and minimize your legal and commercial liability?

9. Force Majeure provisions and how they can impact Event cancellation.
10. You and your attendees’ Confidential and Personally Identifiable Information have to be protected.  What language should you insist on in the Agreement?
