Summary:
This program will focus on how to proactively invest in your mental wellness to live your best professional and personal lives. The meeting and event planning profession is known for its high pressure and demanding environment. Stress factors include physical demands, deadlines, extensive travel, working in the public eye, and dealing with potential disasters.
Meeting professionals have the 5th most stressful job in the world. The statistics are alarming: 71% think colleagues are suffering, 38% of people don’t want to ask for help and 15% of people do not feel able to ask for help.
The emotional impact on people is rarely discussed or addressed. Therefore, this can leave individuals to feel unsupported and isolated. The goal of this program is to equip attendees with the tools, skills and mindset needed to thrive through uncertain times. The various dimensions of life: financial, physical, relational, professional and spiritual, and how they influence us will be addressed. Positive and empowering, it’s a highly personal and interactive experience filled with practical wellness strategies.
Objective:
To provide the tools to help meeting professionals improve their mental health and wellness, live a self-directed life and reach their full potential.
Presentation Highlights:
– Provide an overview of mental illness vs mental wellness.
– Recognize the pressure points that impact all of us. (Financial, Physical, Relational, Professional, Spiritual).
– Identify symptoms of emotional stress and depression.
– Discover ways to maintain a mental wellness routine and incorporate into your daily life.
– Discuss the role and importance of gratitude, personal forgiveness and resilience.
